Around Christmas time, I had the pleasure to photograph Courtney's family. After that session we discussed getting together in the future and do a branded session... And I'm SOOO glad we did!

When planning a branded shoot, Pinterest is your BEST FRIEND! Start a board and send it to your client to be sure you both are on the same page. If your client's business includes a product or service, be sure to tell them to bring the most important items with them to the session. Courtney's business, Rowles Productions, includes: video production, digital marketing, and event planning across the Myrtle Beach area. So, she brought her camera and laptop. The most important items in her daily grind.

We walked around Barefoot Landing, in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Every storefront is getting a facelift and it has turned into such a cute, trendy and beachy place to go. We started at the Cafe de Paris. We grabbed a table on the side patio and began the session.

When doing a branded session, be sure to get up close and personal with those key items in their business. Have them start working on their computer or looking through files on their camera, to capture candids. Courtney makes work life look so much fun, right?! Some people do not realize the time spent behind phones and computers in this industry. These simple images are such a small representation of the true #grind that happens on a day to day basis.

Seriously, owning a business and being a #girlboss is so empowering. I am so thankful that photography has created some great friendships and allowed me to work with some awesome ladies.

Take a look at some fun collaboration we had today :)

Court, you're killing it girl. Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey!!!
